  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My older brother got his first PC (286), this happened in the very beginning of
'90. The first step was when he introduced me to some Sierra adventure games,
the second and final step was when I got my hands on a tracker.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • VIC-20, MSX, I used them just a little, I might have played a game or two. I
    also watched my brother programming.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Being younger, I used to draw quite a lot and I wasn't all that bad at it.
Anyway, in time I noticed having a much greater attraction to music and tracking,
maybe I even noticed being a bit musically talented. It wasn't much later when I
got my very first guitar. I've also been interested in programming, and still am.
Heck, I'm even studing computer science for now.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started with Scream Tracker 2, then switched to Fasttracker, and then
switched back to Scream Tracker 3, finally ending up with Impulse Tracker 2.
    Now I use Cubase.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think I've set my goals so high I can't ever reach them, I don't want to stop
evolving ;D I reached some goal with 'System 51' when I got the 2nd place in
module music compo at Assembly '98. It was the first time I got some kind of
    recognition for my work.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • There was one but I can't remember it anymore.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It's a definite mood-setter, though silence can also be effective in that. Music
can really enhance the feeling the demo/game is trying to deliver.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am still composing! Nowadays I'm just trying to get acquainted with a notch
more professional softwares, but just for my own fun for now.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • --

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • When I first heard Necros's 'Tangerine fascination' I couldn't help falling in
love. Those beautiful melodies and nice strange chord progressions, I wish I
could reach that skill some day.

For my own compositions, I still like 'Elusive images' the most.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Yep, it has crossed my mind. Actually I've already made a cd with my better
modules and mp3s as audiotracks, though I made only two copies of it. My
girlfriend insisted on having the other and the another one got sent to a
    'fan' of mine.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Megadeth, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Joe Satriani, Andromeda, just to name a
    few..

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Amiga-scene gave me a lot of inspiration through musicians and their modules,
    especially moby and audiomonster.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I'm not in any group currently, even though I wouldn't mind being (I just
haven't got the will to search for one). I might be in some demo-project, but
    well, we'll see about that..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Check out my website http://come.to/quasian for the complete track listing.
Feel free to contact me for any matter you could think of. =)
