It was a holiday week and I played "Eggbert" and "Big Top Barney" the whole week through. Shortly after that I started my first Basic program. C64 - cracking/training/coding Amiga 500 - cracking/training/coding/music Amiga 1200 - music now AMD K7/600 - nothing extraordinary I tried them all, and Gfx was not in my vein. Music was cool with SoundTracker/ProTracker, I liked the technical side of it, made it almost *like* coding. I'd consider myself a rather technically oriented musican. see above Sexual Climax; Dawn of Myth Nope. They all have their place, the good ones as well as the bad ones. Probably more than anything else because what do good effects look like when the music is crap. Nope, no time. Never got anything going for midi. Mpeg is cool for having made obsolete CD shuffling machines. As for the music industry crying all over the place - Darwinism at work. If noone wants to by their kiddie shit they may stop producing it and turn to real music. Wave is just a format bad Windows samples come in... blown up like anything else from MS.
