  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Well.. The first interest I had for computer : I think that it's around 1985
for a Philips Videopack. The kind of stuff with 2 lines fighting with for a
ball... I had some fun with it.. Much better than Playmobil :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Videopack, Amstrad CPC 464 (later I bought an external drive ;)), Amiga 500,
Amiga 1200, then PC :( I discovered music on a friend's Amiga (Wild copper
megademo) and then decided to buy one. I got a PC around 1995, and since that
    time, I have no inspiration anymore;;

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Don't know..Perhaps because of the flute lesson when I was 5 on "Pierre et le
loup". More seriously, I've never been able to play an instrument, and computer
music is such an easy way to compose without playing an instrument... It's like
ur brain is connected directly to the comuter, and u just have to think it to ear
it outside your brain.. great no ? ;)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • On Amiga I used all the Trackers version (from Soundtracker 2.4 to Protracker 3.15
if I remember right..) then on PC I tried FT2, Modplugtracker, and I think
that Renoise is gonna be great reference on PC tracking.. but we'll see :)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None of them..But I don't think I had a goal..in fact the pleasure was to make a
new piece and see if it pleased my friends..(foolish no ? :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Nop.. I did all of them myself, and I'm proud of it ;-)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • As important as gfx and code..

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Nop, I would like to make a mod or 2 sometime for pleasure.. but I'm not patient
    enough anymore..

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • nothing in fact.. in the 1990-1995, on Amiga, the fun was that everybody had 4
channels, 512 kb of memory, and that was the challenge. U were clearely able to
see who had talent, and who had not.. today, u still know who have talent, but
it's harder to see who have not :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Uncle tom OCC san geen ; madness took me ; savannah
    Codex memory dust
    Audiomonster Nebulos
    4_mat phantasmagoria

And so much more I forgot, that Nectarine makes me remember ;)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Herbie hancock, Lazy...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Some good friends, self confidence, and it made my studies much harder,
    because of less time ;)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Well, old fellows, don't hesitate to contact me to drink something in souvenir
of the great time.. especially Martin deykers, or robert Ling.. hope to hear
    from u somedays..
