  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Well my first computer was the c-64. I wanted it because off the stunning
games it had at that time.. Later on I started swaping games and found my
    way into the scene.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • The c-64 , Amiga 500/1200 and PC. I've done music, gfx and a little code

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well actually I started making gfx for my first groups... theese where Noise
and X-factor. In Noise I got in contact with Drax and he gave me a music
editor (dont remeber the name) in wich I started composing. I called him and
played my music through phone. He claimed that he've heard them before and
that I couldnt do this good. so I new that I had to do music instead of gfx. :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I've been using Laxitys editor and JCH's. Laxitys was based on hex-data and
there was no graphical overwiew so I ended up using JCH's for the most.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Its hard to say but I particular liked "Equinox"," In past"," and temple-du".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • "In past" was a little special coz it was the first time that i've been
composing for a compo. that was the party at samsoe. (dont remember the
organizer). I thought that I've made a couple of new sounds in the tune,
and that it had to win. Unfortunately I only got a 3. place with Dango and
JCH infront of me. In the end the tune wasent so stunning than I thought.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Hmm... Ofcourse demo/game needs music but how important it is - is hard to
say. I'll give it 33% and the rest to code and gfx.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • At present I'm not composing anything, but I'm planing to work with a higly
scilled singer and composer, for the next half year. we hope to make something
interesting for the musicscene. For the last two years I've been working for
ITE. The game compagny that invented the little Troll "hugo" I've been doing
music and snd-fx for four playstation games (titles belowe) some pc games
and a couple of tv-scenes. This work have been very interesting but I got
tired of making music on comand. so I quited the job and started teaching in
    logic and other musical-programs.

    Palystation games :
Hugo- the quest for the sunstones
    Hugo- black diamond fever
    Hugo- frogfighter
Hugo- scyllas eveil mirror (havent been realesed yet. Should end up quite nice)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • dont understand the question. and Mpeg is a gfx-format.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Jep!! I have to say that my all times favorite composer is Fred grey. He
really made me smile. Legend of kage, hysteria, implosion, Mission ad.
also Tim folin, martin gallway, Jeroen tell was some of my favorites

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • hehe - ofcourse I've thought about this a number of times but would be quite
timedemanding. Maybe in a year or two...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • My favorite composer Is Pat metheny coz I like the flow in his music.
also Sting Is highly rated in my opinion

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It reminds my of a great time which where dedicated to theese machines rather
than girls and social live. I liked those times alot because the scenes where
like our little scocietys where were the controling parts.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No. Not beside our yearly Bonzai meeting in THA's summer-recidence

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greeting to the whole bonzai-crew. . see ya
