    Handle: Sir Henry

Group: Impulse, iR (not active on the scene from 1992)

    Date of birth: 08.15.1974

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In the early 80´s my father bought me a C64. Im played on it a lot,
but later im was very impressed by the music of the games
(Last Ninja, Rob Hubbard muzax, etc.) so im started to composing
    on the C64.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • From 1990 im used an Amiga500 to make musics, for my group(s),
musicdisks, introtunes, etc... in 1996 i sold my Amiga:( and change
    to PC.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Im still making musics, so im not finished my job:) But im get older an older,
and need money - so i made webpages/gfx and interactive applications now -
this is my job. To make music is only my hobby.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • On C64: Future Composer, RoMuzak.
On Amiga500: Protracker, Oktalyzer, OctaMed, KCS (midi)
    On Pc: Synthesizers with everything:))

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think a good musician never reach his/her goal:)
But my all time favourite tune (mod) is called "Henry`s Ballade"
you can find it on the aminet...

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • At my 18 birthday ive made a tune called "years18" thats awfull and depressive.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The value is: try to eat without salt for a year...
The music is the salt for demos/films/games.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Im still composing, sometimes for order (for Radios stations, etc.)
    and sometimes just for myself.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think the Mp3 coding is the most important thing after the appear of the Piano...

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Everyting from Rob Hubbard, Tip, Mantronix.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Im already published a 8track audio CD with my music, we didnt sold too much
from that - my style is not following the trend (techno, rave, groove, etc.)
so only a few people likes it.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • PetShopBoys, Sting, and a lot of from 1980-90.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of experience.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Feel free to browse on my site, and feel free to download my musics -
    i will happy then.
