  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It started with the C64. I saw it first at a friends place and just HAD to have
    one myself! 1986

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64 - Playing, and later on machine language and some composing...
Amiga 500,500+ and 1200 - playing at first, but after that mostly assembler
    programming and music composing.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well... I was very interrested in electronic music, and when the opportunity for making
my own music with my computer came, I couldn't resist!

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • C64 - future composer and some early soundtracker clone.
    Amiga - Soundtracker / Startrekker / Noisetracker...
PC - Fasttracker II, AXS, Rebirth, Fruityloops...

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Uh... I havn't reach my goal yet... but one big favourite is the old "Brainblast"
    from 1991.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Dont remember the name of it, but it was a tune for an Amiga intro which I had
to cut all the samples to nothingness just to fit the memory in an A500.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Whithout music a demo is meaningless.
...in games... well... just the intromusic, but when playing I want silence +
    soundfx. :-)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Not much these days. Sometimes I start on a tune, but it always ends with
    kaos and I delete it!

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Very proffessional, but not the same "soul" in the music as back in the Amiga
    days!

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Don't have one! I get bored too quickly.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Nope...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Nothing special... Listen very little to music these days.
But when I listen it's mostly to Infected mushroom, Sphongle, Aphex Twin and
    stuff like that...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Happyness!

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No. I got myself a life :-)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings to all former members of Defiance! I still remeber you all!
