  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It started because our family has had computers at home since I was 6 years
    old. That is 1984.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • A SVI, a 8086, a 486, a p133, a pII 450, and now a Athlon XP 1800+.
In the early days (up to p133) played games, and I started coding
on the 8086. Started making music on the 486 in Fasttracker 1.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Piano lessons I guess. And the fact that I suck at drawing.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker, Fasttracker 1, Fastrtracker 2, and nowadays mainly cubase and
    our home-made tracker.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Goal?

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No, the tunes that are less good are always unserious tunes, and even with
serious tunes, I usually only put from 30mins up to a few hours into a tune.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Setting the mood and pace. for demos I really dig good sync.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Only for leisure, and yes, I compose a lot. Every day even.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • ? I frankly don't understand the question. But I prefer for intros softsynths,
and otherwise I prefer to use midi-equipment (as I said earlier, I use cubase),
so for demos, .mp3 is the prior choice.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Yes. But it depends, if you mean demoscene-wise I don't know, I don't listen
to scene music at all kinda. Only SID-music. When it comes to "real" music
I'd go for stuff like. hmm.

Grieg - Hall of the mountain king. Man is that tune fat or what?
Apoptygma Berzerk - Eclipse, my fav on the dancefloor
Covenant - Like Tears In rain. Apocalyptic music is nice :)
Funker Vogt - Machine Zeit. It just doesn't get better than this.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, why would I? Like anyone would care.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, Covenant, Weezer, Saft, And One, Welle Erdball,
Knorkator, Shpongle, Funker Vogt, S.P.O.C.K, DMX Krew, Lars Demian, HIM....
    lots more.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The amiga scene is what pulled me into the scene since I had a friend that
    was an amiga scener.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, recently I've made "we are cryonics" and "cryonics we are" together
with java/cryonics, two different 64k intros for asm01 and dh01, respectively.
And I also make music for quite a lot of other groups

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • All my friends in cryonics and noice. Lator, Jimmy, Haake, Zyrax, the stupid
    girls MrsCarrot and Euphoria.
