Atari VCS 2600 for gaming, C64 for playing games, but then i discover my love to the synthetic sounds. My god, how many time i spent to listening songs by Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, Whittacker, Daglish or Jeroen Tel. On Amiga, when the Godfather of Soundtracker, Karsten Obarski brings out his legendary Programm, i stardet to make Music on Amiga. We (TAR) made 4 Tunsshows and a lot of Demomusics for varios Groups. In End of 1990 we planed to make music professionally for a game. For that we joind Digitgal SimpleX. Just bevor the Musics und Grafix were nearly finished, our coders stopped the project. This was not so funny for us. So we decidet to stop making music for the first time. 1991: first x86 machine, a Cyrix 33Mhz 486DLC for doing midi stuff together with an Atari ST520 for a Home Recording Studio together with Oliver Schlebrowski (Track 41) Then I've got a lot of PC updgradings . Now i have a Notebook I still have my Amiga 500 for nostalgic reasons. We loved the music from musicians like Hubbard, Galway, David Withaker and all the others, so we were always intersted in making our own stuff but we've got no really good tool. But suddenly Karsten Obarskis Soundtracker appeared in the secene. At this time Torsten, Oliver and myself founded "The Acoustic Revolution". We used Soundmonitor on C64. on Amiga: Dynamic Drums, Soundtracker, Protracker, Oktalyzer We supported Armin Sander with the Oktalyzer. Doing Testing, Demo Songs, the Handbook and binging in some cool, fresh ideas. Later then an Amiga Midi Sequencer (can't remember it's name) with a Korg 01/W, then Cubase 1.0 and later Versions on the x86 machines. Well, on Soundtracker i think it's "Jet to Fly" and "Third Emotion" on Oktalyzer "Future Melody" (The First 8-Voices-Song on Amiga) and "V.0.0." are my favorite one. Some of my first stuff. And "top Time" from Tunsshow 2 (sounds too funny) and some of my First one. Without music a demo or game is not complete. NO, since 1998. in 1993 me and Track 41 had a Home Recording Studio. And did some Stuff for our selfs. Great, i wished that we had this opportunity in 1988. Today its much, much easier to make musics. Look at Madtracker. There's no compare to the old Originale Soundtracker. There are so many... but to name some: Arkanoid (I made a remake on Amiga), Sanxion, Hawkeye, Lightforce..... the most of Hubbard and Galway. In 1993 i made a remasterd recording of our Greatest Hits from the Original Amiga mod´s and okt´s. There are 2 Audio-CD´s. If you want to get one, feel free to contact us via E-mail. Depech Mode, Elektric music, Trance, Black music and much more, but of course the remastered tunes from C64 and Amigatunes. This was the time in my life that gave me the most fun and pleasur. So I'am very happy that the scene is still around us for so long time. I'am proud to be a part of it. Because we was one of the early pioniers on Soundtracker till Oktalyzer. No, just listing the old tuns and let the old times and memorys alive. Read the scroll-text of TAR Tune-Show II - IV. I don't remember all the cool guys at the moment. But I really want to greet and thank you guys who make this interview possible, all the guys who remastered our favorite tunes and all our fans. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2006 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
