It was with czech computer PMD-85 based on Z80 CPU. It was not a good computer. My parents bought me an Didaktik Gama 89 later, which is ZX Spectrum 48KB clone with additional 32KB of memory. Great... many games, many facilities for young boy :-) PMD-85: I've started to learn Basic language Didaktik Gama 89: I've started to learn Sinclair Basic and Assembler of Z80 and compose music on beeper and later on AY 3-8912 chip. Amiga 500+ : I've got this great computer as a gift from my dear friend. I've always dreamed about it! Amiga 1200: I bought A1200 'cos I was unable to expand the A500+ with new CPU and AGA rulez, you know Amiga 4000 : at this time, I've the Amiga 4000 computer equipped with CyberStormPPC and the fastest 68K CPU 68060@60MHz, G-Rex 4000 PCI bridge with powerful TerraTek512i sound card, VooDoo3 gfx card and ethernet and Algor, the USB Zorro III card. Great! I do everything on my A4000. 'cos I'm poor GFX maker and not a very good coder, although I can do good proggy for Z80. ZX Spectrum: Wham! The music box, Orfeus, SoundTracker, SQ-Tracker Amiga: Octamed 4, Octamed SoundStudio 1.03, AHX Tracker, SoundFX, 303 Tracker, DigiBooster and many others PC: Impulse Tracker, Scream Tracker, Rebirth.. technically, my best multichannel module is cover from Timothy Follin, Chronos - the tapestry of time, originally from ZX Spectrum 48KB. It was very hard covering. (PC). maybe my the first tunes for thei poor technical quality. But I don't remember their names. No music, no feeling. It is very important. The best possibility is good msx and good demo. For example Desert Dream from Amiga (Laxity was the coder and composer at once) I wish I could say YES. The truth is not, because of lack of time. I'm not proffesional composer. I do it only for my own pleasure and for the friends, for the community around the ZX Spectrum and Amiga. Music is indepent on format. Music depends on musician! Good composer, good music. No matter if he/her uses MIDI, Tracker. Tim Follin: Agent X 2, Raw Recruit, Black Lamp, Led Storm, Dolphin's Matthew Smith: Batman Laxity: Desert Dream and modules from Nine Fingers and State of the Art. There are a lot of modules which I like very much. yes, probably in Q1 of 2004. It will be surprise for all the people who know me :) Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Scooter, Prodigy and J.S.Bach - Orgelwerke auf Silbermannorgeln inspiration and real friends. Especially guys from ZX Spectrum scene. I'm not interested in C64 scene a lot... partially, yes. I'm leader of Horizontal Lamerz - the Amiga group. We are looking for good coder. Since we know we can't find him, I bought Hollywood - an multimedia application layer for amiga. It is powerful scripting language :-) It is dangerous section. I will forget someone for sure, so I'm going to send the greetings to all the Speccy, Amiga and C64 scene. Well :-) especially to Factor 6, Omega, POKE, Dizzy, Bell, Marwin, Baze, MikeZT, Pol, Mike Follin and Hyperion Software Entertainment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2003 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
