Date of birth: 29.11.1974 1986 when I got my first Amstrad CPC. I had the CPC (programming), a C64 (gaming), an A500 (gaming, music), an A1200 (music, internet, everything), up to now various PC's and a laptop (music, studies, webdesign, programming, business). Because I was better in making music. Virtually only Protracker. "Ego Pumping" (finished in the end of 1996). It was never released. What a pity! No. Some are bad, some are good, but if you put all of them together they demonstrate the evolution of skills and creativeness. That is why every song is important. Music is an essential part of everyone's life. You can't record a piece of art or code on a tape and listen to it while you're on your way to the next party. And I never heard that people cry, scream, go crazy about some piece of art or code. Music brings art and code together. Not at all. No idea - I don't listen to them. May be they have better hardware capabilities but they won't make better music than we did 8 years ago. Hey Kiddies, do you remember these??? Jester - The Machinery because it rocks. Julius (former Mad Freak) - 3D Demo Part II Music (can't remember the name) because it's so sweet. Heatbeat - Street Jungle because it's synth pop at its best. Jogeir - Psychedelic Demo Tunes (Name?) because it fits the demo. Romeo Knight - Red Sector Megademo Part 2 Tune (Name?) because I never enjoyed a piece of music like that ever before. Nice idea but why should I? Mainstream. It was a big family of nerds, unable to survive in society, but enabled to create fascinating beautiness with computers. The scene was great (I bet it still is). Composing gave me pride, freedom, self-esteem. Not at all. Let the scene never die. I enjoyed it, I did my bit, and my time is over. Kiddies, keep it up! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2001 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
