  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Probably around 1978, through Gary Numan and his Replicas album.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Before my A1200? A500. Games, music.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Because I was already a musician in a moderately succesful punk band.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Cubase SX. Been there from the start.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Possibly Onstage 2, act 2. But I was still learning really ..

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Not really, they are all part of my massive multi format musical output.
For sure, some people may find some of my stuff rubbish but I see all my
tracks as being like windows into the past.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In my personal opinion? None.I always turn off the music in a game so that I
can enjoy the sound fx etc. I like FPS games, and let's face it, if you are going
undercover into a 1940's German castle, then you aint gonna be listening to
music whilst you are doing it are you?

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes. For both.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • The internet has enabled everyone to have a voice. More music, but also more
    rubbish.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Amiga? All of Dave Sullivan's stuff. Despite him not being a musician at all
he managed to wrote some of the prettiest mods I ever heard. I always hotly
anticipated a new track from Dave.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I have done. But its not sounding very good. I need to start from scratch
with my mods, but I seriously need some help.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Patrick Wolf is the only modern artist I give a toss about.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • An experience.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Dave Sullivan where are you? Drop me a line. Richard Bannister? Same.

Finally, my best memory from the Amiga days: - I recieved a letter addressed
to 'The Raven'. It was from a young guy whose mother had recently passed
away. He told me that my Amiga music had gotten him through his hardest times, and
he thanked me for that. I was moved to tears by that note, and to this day,
despite having a couple of hit records and some recogition for my work, that
    remains my favorite memory.

Finally, if anyone can help me get my stuff onto a CD that would be great,
    please email me.
