  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I have grown up with computers basically. That's because my dad had a big
interest for them. Sinclair ZX was the first, but I was really small at the
time. My first real computer (that I used) was Sinclair QL, a really neat
system. 1984/5 or something was the year.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Sinclair QL - played games, did some silly music (not serious stuff :)

Amiga 500 - games, music, animation, graphics (with DPaint of course)

Amia 1200 - Still have this, heavily upraded though. Music - Games - Net

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I tried to code, but was not good at it. Same goes with gfx. Animation making
was fun though. And I have a classical music background (piano) so it was a
    natural choice.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • ProTracker 2.2 for MANY years (until '99 I completely switched to DigiBooster)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • There is no such goal. I hope to evolve all the time and once I don't have to
think about the technical stuff, only just create, I'm closer to the goal.
I like some of my older songs though..for nostalgic reasons mostly.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • hmm..not really. Some uncompleted stuff mainly.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • HUGE! Try watching a demo without any music, sfx in it! It's soo boring! Game
is a bit different as u have to be focused all the time (depends of the game,
but mostly that's true) and you are not passive. When watching some
presentation, you just need to be active through your senses while u lay back
    and enjoy it.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am, but just for the fun of it. Maybe some day I get together with my friends
and make music professionally (but still remember to have fun!).

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • There are quite many of them. I really don't have any comment on that.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • My own? I dunno, I still think they are still to come. But I'll put a few
names (in no specific order): Eternal Light (pt-MOD), Kick It (pt-MOD),
Skyline (pt-MOD), Fantasy Meets Newage (DBM), Hard Drivin' (DBM), Slowfood
    (DBM)..

If not my own.. Then I must say I have great respect for the Amiga-game
composers in the past. Allistair Brimble, David Whittaker, Bjorn Lynne,
Tim&Lee Wright etc.. + every composer still involved in Amiga scene!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Of the older/current stuff? Don't think so! :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listening to?

  • Laurent Garnier, Vangelis, Photek, Zbignien Preisner (know as a composer of
Bleu, The double life of Veronica etc..)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • My life in the form it is now ;)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I was not very active in the past. Mainly cause I'm quite shy person and I
found it difficult to get to know people in the scene. But now I'm going to
    be much more active!

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Every Moods members! Reason & Void fellas! Rocco, Cell, Skyfox, JuhoAP, AriAP,
FalconAP, Wizor, Rib, Letti, Thoriel, KureRNO, jpvRNO, DeeqRNO, Tundrah, Akiro,
Zuulkuul, Thematic, Fusco and soo many forgotten (sorry!). Just keep creative
and be open to anyone who tries to be, newcomer or oldskoolie, it doesn't
matter! And a few more words... phuck capitalism/army/politics/porn-ads/
prejudiced people/santa-claus (bring me the god damn synthesizer now will ya ;-)

    Cheers and out!
