1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

1985 - My friend Holger Benl bought an Atari 600XL when we were 14 and since then we spent most of our time on programming stuff.

2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

Atari 800XL - 1986 - basic games programming

C64 - music with sound monitor and a little demo coding

Amiga - music with soundtracker and a software synthesizer written by my friend holger benl.
Acorn Archimedes - basic and assembler programming

PC - adlib music, fast tracker music, Logic, Cakewalk, Cubase, Ableton Live

3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

Composing music was more fun.

4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

soundtracker and a self written softwaresythesizer.
I composed over 200 tunes with this tool. You can play these with the deliplayer.

5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

With my very first C64 title.

6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

No.

7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

Often the only thing that survives from a demo or a game is the music that came with it. Interesting. Game- und Demomusic is often timeless.

8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

I dont know.

10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

Many tunes from Rob Hubbard.

11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

No.

12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

Everything. Mostly ambient stuff.

13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

Our demo group The Sunriders was a key experience for me and Im still into creative, collaborative, non-commercial, scene stuff.

14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

The openmusic scene, yes.
