    Group: Paradox

Date of birth: somewhen in the 70ies

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Can´t recall it exactly..somewhen right before Sharks party took place in
Berlin..maybe Irata still knows. With those old ping pong game and G7000
    by Phillips

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Generally all consoles i get/got my fingers on, also VC20, C64 plenty Amigas
and PC...i did what every one does on his machine..exploring!

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I never did gfx, thats where I am totally weak in, well producing is more
interesting than creating music. In addition there are massive buddies out
there with much higher skills in musique so I prefer producing them and
    support what they deserve.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker or Startracker if I remember right, but that was looong time
ago in the past on amiga - can´t believe that anyone remembers those old
    shit :)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Was a bad slideshow with a ´nowadays´ cult theme and that on 4channel island.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No , cause all were nice in that age, today they might sound as when you
    play down your rom.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • For sure a high value as a great performance is nothing with fitting audios,
sfx and jingles. On top will always be coding cause you see just few great
and willed coders for fat demos but you get massive musicians willed for
tracking. Thats how sound wizards got famous before cd´s popped up in mass
    market.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Not at all - TRSI&FairLight RecordZ was my baby until a few weeks - it will
get under US management right in the Cali area so I look forward what they
are able to do. My support will be unbroken.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Still I prefer simple ´´ plug and play´ cd´s in my players - but all files
like mpeg which you roll down the net rock. So give us more ! :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • hahaha - there would be too much to list here - visit me and gaze thru my
    collies

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Trick yuestion - we released through TRSI&FairLight Recordz quite nice
releases - a few are even rare uniques nowadays (CNCD - always love it) -
future will be interesting as TRSI&FairLight RecordZ is facing its 10th
    aniversairy.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Rockers Hi-Fi, Thievery Corp. Snoopdog and his pals (get snoopdoggs porno
volume one on the net - thats a real party I would always love to hang
out with) and ´hundreds of other cd´s, files, as simple as that

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Currently the first impression i get when thinking is ´nostalgy´ (technique).
Scene and my friends there: friendship and thats worth a lot.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Always been here, always will be here - PArAdOX that word is enough -
visit www.paradogs.com. Paradox - where the b!g boyZ play! (what arrogant
    slogan)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • too much to add here, so many people i met, so many kind friends out there..#
deepest respect and friendship to max, alien, pha-q and all beloved Paradudes -
you rule as nothing else. Paradox will always stay (Seriously I want to state
something with and give our deepest expressions to USA and all victims on
    September 11th: PaRaDoX against terrorism!)

my respects in those glory years: all Paradox believers, TRSI, FairLight,
Scoopex, CNCD and for sure Cryptoburners for remembering me, cheers..
