  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Uhm, good question.. My interest for computers start in the very far
1981 when I was 5... I remember that in that time my dear cousin Vittorio
received as gift a zx-spectrum 48k and we started to play with it, from
that I never stopped my interest in computers, and I'll NEVER stop my
interest in them! Computer is really important for me!

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Well, after the zx I bought a c128 (who remember it?? it suxx), a c64,
then I passed to amiga500, a1200, pentium, plus a lot of consoles like
supernes, gameboy and a ruling psx... What I did with them? Well when I
bought my amiga500 I remember that I was shocked when a friend of mine
let me have AEGIS SONIX... After that progs I had also soundtracker and
it was the start of my (short) amiga musician career...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • It's simple... Since the time of c64 I LOVED the videogames music, infact i
remember that I passed interely days hearing the sids mods! My favourites
musicians was Maniacs Of Noise and naturally the great and inimitable Rob
Hubbard! So when I bought my amiga i was shocked when I understood what
the people can do with soundtrackers and similars... So I start to study
soundtracker... :D In the same period, I was a DeeJay and I worked for three
years in radio with my prog Nustyle.. A mega hard-techn0-house-rap trip.. ;)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • well I used Protracker for composing my mods...

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Well Surely digital house for me, that was used in a slideshow we made, and
that was rewieved in an important italian magazine (tgm) ... But I prefer 2
hear from the others that my mod is cool.. ;)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • No one in particular...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • in my point of view, the music in a demo is REALLY important!! Do you
figure State of the Art without travolta's mods? Or Love without the GREAT
jogeir's soundtrack? The first thing I consider in a demo is the music!
Nowadays, all demos have boring techno soundtrack... I'm a nostalgic of
old goot times.. when demos were masterpieces, who remember love,in the
    kitchen,flowerpower,guardian dragon,nexus 7... sigh...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Nononono, I stopped composing at the end of 95, when I joined as active member
ram jam, infact my first job was to be a swapper and editor.. I was also
organizer with acbs of ramjam for more than 1 year.. I had a lot to do and no
more time for composing also because I have already told, I was an active
deejay! Now that I bought a pentium I must say that my love for composing
is returing I really like programs like fasttracker2, but the program who
make me mad as i LOVE him is REBIRTH 1.5 ... It's an emulator of 2 analog
synthetizer from roland.. it's simply awesome.. but you can compose only
    techn0 with it.. It's ok 4 me! :D

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as
  • mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

i'm really happy with new technologies.. Especially mp3 i think it's a really
good format and I think it will become the standard in internet for trasmit
long songs.. it's really cool what you can do nowadays!

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Sure!

GuitarSlinger, GComp, Living in a dream, tiny tunes, mystified and the one
and only PHYSICAL PRESENCE... the best mod ever created for me! Jogeir RULEZ!

    BananaSplit from Dizzy

Elysium, flower power, stardust memories from Jester

    Desert Dream mods from laxity

    Condom Corruption from Travolta

    Zenith from Fby

Dosk forever from SOme1 e Morrow

Claustrophobia and Art of chrome from Lizardking

    Space Debris from Captain

Rethoric and distant call from Mr.Man

    Overload from tip&mtx

    ALL the mods from N-joy!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Who knows? :D

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Oasis,Verve,Nathalie Imbruglia,Rem,Zucchero,Ligabue

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The amiga scene gave me a lot of sincerely and cool friends worldwide
plus naturally a lot of satisfaction for the various releases.. ;)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Uhm, yes, as I'm the coleader of my group Ram Jam, i'm a sort of spiritual
    guide for young members.. :D

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Well, I'd like to great my great friend Acbs! Other peoples I'd like
to greet are in no particular order; Dr.g/Ram Jam, Trendy/Ram Jam,
    Autopilot,Cr0kky,Leunam/Network,Black Dragon/Honoo,Randy/Ram Jam,
Excel,Sixpack,Ghandy,Damion,Jogeir,Chromag (Hi Timm! Thx for your
great mod!),Zack and all the others I forgot! You're all great!
