Date of birth:

1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

My father bought an Atari ST in 1989.

2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

The Atari ST and a lent Amiga Commodore 500, for doing tracked music and
pixel-painting.

3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

Music touched my soul more than graphics did.

4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

Noisetracker and various other trackers on Atari. On PC I've been using
Fasttracker 2 and Impulse Tracker. Lately, I do enjoy working
with Buzz (http://www.buzz2.com).

5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

"National Pride" (remix). It's the only piece of music I've written
which lasts for 14 minutes. It's a journey.

6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

"Overdose". Some real eurodance crap.

7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

It should fit to the visual side of it.

8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

Still composing. Running a Drum'n'Bass label called Santorin rec.
(http://www.santorin.de) and working as semi-professional producer.

9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

It's great. Access to music for everyone. The way it should be.

10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

I already did a Best-of Audio CD called "One Night".
It's available on my homepage.

12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

Breakbeat Era, Ennio Morricone and various DJ-Mixtapes.

13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

The Atari scene mostly gave me friendships lasting for years.
I'm still in contact with everyone.

14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

Just a bit in the tracked-music community.
