  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Hmmm... must have been around 1985 when my dad bought a TI-99/4a.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • TI99/4a - play games, code games and music in BASIC.
C64 - mostly games, and for listening to SID music of course! :)
PC - demos, music, code, graphics & web design, games.

I never owned an Amiga.. :(

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I also do gfx and a bit of code.. but the reason I got into computer music
would have to be the sound of the SID chip.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Used Screamtracker for mods, now I use Reason mostly.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I was never happy with any of my mods - perhaps Aftermath, or some unreleased
    game tunes.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Evolution - it used samples and basslines from an old Amiga mod and was
    released without credits. :(

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Invaluable. Music brings a demo to life.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Semi-professional and leisure.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • MP3 is awesome, being able to distribute music over the net - the MP3 scene on
the web is amazing, so much excellent music being released for free. But
there's nothing like squeezing great tracks out of 4 channels. I can't stand
    MIDI.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Huhh.. way too many to list, so I'll try to keep it short. Anything by Hubbard,
Jeroen Tel, Dizzy, Radix or Dune. TRSI Rise Up by Romeo Knight, Overload by
Tip & Mantronix, Enigma by Tip and Firefox, 11 Notes on Sand and Dawn Mosaic
by Heatbeat, 3D Demo 2 and Lemon Announce by Julius, My Glamorous Life by
Jester, Knulla Kuk by Moby, Space Debris by Captain, Cybermoon by Jugi,
Aspire to Absolute by Scorpik, Paimen by Groo, Neodrink by Fleshbrain, Oro
Incenso by Jogeir, Lost Scrotum by Paso, Libertine by Zodiak, Waterfall and
Red Sector Theme by 4-Mat, By The Coast by Maestro, Obsessivilisation by
    Willbe... and many more.. :)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Not really... I don't think there'd be much interest for it, but it would be
    fun to do.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Currently listening to a lot of scene music on Nectarine.. CDs I have on my
desk are Boards of Canada, Wagon Christ, Technasia, Kraftwerk.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The ability to work under tight constraints, to optimise, and to push a
machine to its limits. And to have hours of fun at the same time. :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Haven't been active for years, but I've heard a rumour that Reality might make
    a come-back soon....

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greets to the Reality boys - Rogue, Shayde and Myth... to Dalezy, and to any
other sceners who still remember us. :)
