  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My interest in computers started when some friends of mine got their Commodore
    64. This would be in 1985 i think. My first computer, or gameconsole, was an
Atari 2600 which i got as a christmaspresent from my parents. It wasnt before
4 years later i got my own C64, and it was then i first got to know the
    demoscene.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • hmm..

    1. Atari 2600, stored in a room upstairs ;)
    2. Commodore 64, sold to a friend.
    3. Amiga 500, sold to a friend.
    4. Amiga 2000, still got it.
    5. Pentium 100, stripped
    6. Pentium 2 233, stripped
    7. Pentium 3 600, still using it.
    8. Amd t-bird 1,4, still using it.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I have always loved music, i started early playing the guitar. When i got my
C64 i really enjoyed listening to the synthetic music in games and demos. When
i got my Amiga 500, I wanted to see how the music was made so i loaded
SoundTracker and looked at some modules. Then i had to try to make some
modules myself, and i continued to do so for many years. Today i work as a
    programmer though.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I have been using SoundTracker, FastTracker and Protracker. Especially
protracker on my Amiga and Fasttracker II on my pc.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I dont consider myeself as a "pro" musician and my biggest fan is probably
myself. I have made 2 or 3 modules on my Amiga that i really like, same on
the PC. My favourite on PC is "SpaceWalker".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No, i would like to remember all my tunes, they all bring back memories.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I think the value of the music in a game is about 1/4, 1 part coding, 1 part
graphics, 1 part music and 1 part design. If you loose one of them the product
    looses its value.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, not to often, but once in a while i run "MadTracker" and play around a bit.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, its ok i guess, its good to see developments, but i will always have a
    soft spot for trackers.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I love Elwood's mods on pc. I'm also a huge fan of LizardKing, im sorry to say
i cant rembemer any tune-names right now.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Metallica, Iron Maiden, Biosphere, techno/trance groups.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It was a huge part of my life, as soon as school was over i checked my mailbox
for new letters with disks, checking out new demos, musicdisks and composing.
Hmmm.. i miss those days ;) I still download new demos and have a great time
watching them and listening to scenemusic.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No! I dont have the contacts or the time anymore.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Shade of Eremation/Devils
    Terrox.
