  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Must been in 1993 when i was in Canada at a Friends Place he was into (IBM)
Computers very much. I liked playing Indiana Jones 3 and drawing with Corel
    Draw.

Back in Sitzerland it took until 1994 when i encountered Amiga, which was
love on the first sight ;-)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I had an A1200, an A600, 2x A500, 2x A2000 , 2x A3000( i am freak i know)
These i dont have anymore, some died some sold. But 2 Years ago i bought
myself another A1200 which i still
own. And last year i got an A4000 for free. The 2x A3000 i still have i
    donated to the Computermuseum.ch.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I was into making music since i was 14, long before Computers were something
for the Homeuser. (I played Pong on TV though.)
Midi was very interessting when it was new so i was into Midi when it
    started.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Well on Amiga Bars n Pipes, Dreamtracker and Octamed.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Well there is only this one "Sense of beauty" which ever made it onto Aminet
because i did not had any Internet back then.
But there are some never published i like very much my Guitar Triologie for
    example.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yes there are more than one.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It always was very important for me. And i Think i learned a lot of how to
make music out of demos and games on the amiga.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes i am. I did some stuff for local tehaters, but my dream is still making
    a living with music.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well the technical possibilities are just awesome now. MP3 made a
difference. And Midi is still alive, although it is a very old technology.
All this handy tools etc. dont mean you don't have to work hard to make good
    music.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Amiga ones ? Hmm there where some Guitar / Blues Mods in Aminet i think
something with Coffee, cant remember the name.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • One Day yes.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I am listening to a lot of different Bands. Hard to get them all in here so
    some of my real favorites:
The Cure, Wolfsheim, Zeraphine, Ibizarre, KYO and and and....

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It was really the computer for the creative mind ! Like a familiy, warm
hearted and not everyone made stuff for money like it became now.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Active in the scene noot directly but i am into Emulation so i allways have
my Amiga Forever Updated and it the conversations gets to amiga i still cant
    stop talking about !!!

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Amiga is maybe dead, but spirits never die, so folks let the Amiga spirit
live forever and have Peace in everything you do.
