  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I got a commodore 64 in 1986 or so.. then an Amiga in 1988. Once i got the
    Amiga, I started tracking.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C-64. Games :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Music was my main interest. It has always been. I suck at everything else.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker, Noisetracker, Protracker, Fasttracker, Modplugtracker
    (chronologically).

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None yet. Hopefully i never will either.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Not really. Even tho a lot of tunes are not good/bad, its still my work. To me,
    they mean something.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Nothing can convey a mood better than music. Or sometimes, if done right -
the lack of it. I.e Saving Private Ryan, where some scenes are without music..
    very cool effect!

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, still tracking. Both purposes. Mostly for fun, but I've done some
commercial stuff. Making money of music is not important to me. Honestly!

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • As always - some are good, some are not. A few are brilliant :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The early work from Red Sector Demos, such as Ba1 has a special place in my
heart. Walkman's music is amazing! Heatbeat, another classic. Clyde, a friend
of mine, did some awesome stuff in his youth that personally has meant a lot
for my own development. But you know, overall there are way too many goodies
    to mention them all.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Nopes :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Depeche Mode, Bola, Vangelis (as always), Norwegian stuff.. etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A hobby for life! And that is a great gift :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yeap. Doing music for Fairlight and Hellven. Some chip stuff when I feel
    like it on Analogik.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Hi to everyone I've known through the years. Too many to greet them all. I
guess a special hillo should go to Ian Lymann (Scirocco) and Mikael Fyrek
(Some1) who has become close personal friends after meeting through the scene.
    And to Ronny, Morten, Leo.
