I think it was when I was about 10-12 years old. Quite early I guess. Started with a Commodore Vic 64 with a monochrome screen and diskdrive. Quite fancy at that time. Commodore 64: Programmed and played games mostly Amiga 500+: Programmed, made some music and played some games. Well I did both. I think of myself as a better coder than musician, even though I've become much better than at that time. I feel ashame of most of my productions. They were really bad but reminds me of a fantastic era of my life. Hmm... well. What was the name of that program again... It wasn't Fasttracker (tried that too). It was another program for the Amiga, but it was module compliant. OctaMED maybe? I never really reached that goal. The coding took the bigger part There are many, cause they are really bad. Realising that after been playing "usual" music and instruments for a while. I think it's really important. How fun is a movie without music? It's a complement to the visual experience, and something you can't leave out. Not professional, I have a little studio with a quite good motherkeyboard and some sound-modules. It's midi that counts nowadays. I think midi is great, but I envy those peoplo who could do really good music on just 4 channels. It's just fantastic how good some of them are. With 4 channels make it sound as if it was 16. That is admirable! Jester (I think his name was, or is) did some really good songs, can't remember the name. No All kinds, Corrs is my fav group but listens mostly to synth/classical... Inspiration and possibility to use my imagination. No I'd like to greet Baron von Münchhausen which was my partner in crime those days.
