  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Way back in 1980 or something I think.. my dad has a degree in
electronic engineering, and always had some form of computer around.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Apple something - played Loderunner on it
    C64 - Games
Amiga - Music, games, Sequencing, Graphics, BSB/INternet.. etc.
PC - Music, Internet, few Games, Graphics, Sequencing .. etc

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Been into Music since the age of four. Played Keyboards, learning guitar..
Music is far more rewarding to me and is a real time thing which I can
get immediate enjoyment from without a computer. The computer was just
another instrument for me, and a way to get my ideas out of my head.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Pro-Tracker 2.3b (AMiga 5 years)
    ScreamTracker 1 year
    Impulse Tracker - 5 years

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Urgh.. I dunno that!!

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Magic Carpet Ride - because it didn't turn out how I wanted it to, and
it was rushed for completion for a comp.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is the medium which gives the game depth and atmosphere. Music
for a demo brings meaning to the graphics, and compliments the graphics.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes.. I am still composing, doing a professional project, but also still
for leisure, however, don't have much time for tracking at the moment.
Doing more on Guitar at the moment.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • MP3 is allowing all the music you couldn't do with just a tracker to be
distributed to the world, however now the price for a bad tune is no longer
300k, but 3meg! Midi still plays a part in music in game tunes on consoles
or for sequencing .. etc. Wave is just an intermediate format for producing
    MP3.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Monty on the Run theme from C64.
    Cybernoid theme from C64.
    Ancient Times 2 by Awesome.
    Guitar Slinger

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Not really...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Photek, BooBoo & Mace, Jimiroquai, Bjork, DireStraits, DIG

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Boost with my music, and the appreciation of hard work with tight resources
to produce quality music. A network of friends with common interests.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not really. Not enough time while still travelling. I prefer to spend
more time with my girlfriend, and friends.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Nope not really.. :) Hopefully will get to meet as many people that I know
while I'm still travelling around Europe.
