  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • When I was 5 i guess :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • MSX FC-200 Gameing and programming
Amiga 500 Gameing, graphics, music and programming
Amiga 500 IR and spare parts
Amiga 1200 Internet, graphics, music and programming
    Amiga 600 IR
*Amiga 4000 Internet, graphics and music
    Pentium75 Fileserver (Linux)
    *Pentium75 Router/Firewall (Linux)
*Pentium200 Fileserver, webserver and more (Linux)
*iBook2001 Internet, graphics and programming (Linux)

This with a "*" is still in frequent use.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • As a matter of fact I've continued to do them all over the years. But these
days I've put the graphics aside a bit.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Octalyzer, SoundTracker, StarTrakker, ProTracker and today i use DigiBoooster
    Pro.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm... That's a tough one... I like to think I never reach my goal! Sure there
are som modules I am a bit more proud of. Maybe my 2ch-mods for a game I was
coding a long time ago "Aurora Racers"... It's a fair challange to make
    listenable music on 2ch :).

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Oooooh yea! :) lot's of 'em :) but I still have released most of my old mods.
I made some truly awful tunes thought the years.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It has great value! Without music it would be like eating pasta without ketchup.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I am composing for fun, since I'm still "active" on the Atari-scene.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, you can't ban technology. We often use mp2 for falcon-demos, since the
DSP i great for decoding mp2's. And it gives me total freedom in my composing.
But there is nothing like old modules. Nectarine-radio is the thing playing
all night by the bed while I sleep.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hmm... "Space debris" by Captain is a jolly-good tune. And "Madness took me"
by Uncle Tom still rocks. It's an extremly broken tune, but I really love it!
"Hardcore" by Vikning have got a super-cool lead-synth wich I enjoy.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Who knows?! :) I still have to release a proper mixed CD with my Amiga+Me-
synthpop-project. :) Maybe if I get the time someday.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Kraftwerk, Welle Erdball, Mesh, Depeche Mode,
Pain, Erasure, Console and many many more.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Nothing? :) Since I always hang with the Atarians :) But the Atariscene gave
me alot of new GREAT friends and several years of great fun! Cheers guys!

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sort of :) Our releases aren't very frequent but every now and then we make
    something :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I'll just say the pals at #atariswe (ircnet).
