  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Don`t remember, the mists of time cloud my memory. Early 80`s and a speccy
started it all off. Actually, seeing Sabre Wulf started it all off.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Spectrum, Amiga 500/600/1200, PC. Play games, collect mods, and the usual
computer stuff that seems to be running our very existence nowadays.

Amiga playing games, watching demos and listening to the grooves.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Out of fun. Not being musically minded I just started tracking on the Amiga
after listening to all those classic protracker mods, and to see if I could
    create anything listenable.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker on the Amiga and Fasttracker 2.08 on the PC.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Never set any goals really. Just tried to make some noise that was listenable,
not just to myself but anyone else who listened to them. Probably my favourite
tune is Barmy Bali, not just because it was the last one I produced, but it
actually sounded like a mod.. :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • About 50 of em!! Especially the first dozen or so. Reason, coz they`re crap.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a game, none whatsoever. I usually turn it off anyway. But for demos,
they would be rather naff if it didn`t have a tune.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yep, I try.. and just for fun.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Midi = SUCKS (unless you get the original soundfont).
MP3 = Too bleeding big (filesize)
Wave = As always, it needs to be converted into another format.. :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Anything by Moby, Jester, Jogeir, Lizardking, Dr Awesome and anyone oldskool.
(Amiga) On the PC, Awesome, Warder, Acumen, Nightbeat, Necros, Basehead,
Mellow D, Cyberzip etc. Anything that sounds good which practically means
    everything.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Nope. I`m not that good.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listening to?

  • Anything within reason except chart stuff which is shyte, rap and classical
    music.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Lots of good mod music!! Nuff said.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Never was. I`m too old. Used to swap loads of stuff back on the Amiga though..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Nope. Oh alright, anyone that knows me.
    Everyone on a.b.s.m (alt.binaries.sounds.mods) & a.m.m (alt.music.mods)
The teams at Deliplayer (PC) and Modplug (Kim and Olivier).
TiS for still supporting the mod scene and Scene.org for the great music.
And ALL the musicians over the years for writing such great tunes.
