Group: Aural Flux (professional electronic music group)

Date of birth: 11 January 1974

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I had always interest on electronic material, all sort, all kind. it was 1984-85
    when I met with a spectrum 48k.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Alot. hmm.. different types of spectrum computers, commodore 64, amiga 500 1.2,
    amiga 500 1.3, amiga 1200, amiga 4000, amiga 3000 (got it later than 4000 :) ),
amiga 600, amiga 500 plus and sad but true pc series.. I bought a pc 166mmx first,
many many lame upgrades to get them more speedy (but in real they won't), now I
    use a p4 1.9ghz.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Hmm.. I am confused with this question??!?!?! :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • i still use (maybe u won't believe) on my a3000 octamed v4. but ofcourse not
just that, I use propellerheads reason (since 3 months),logic audio platinum.
And I still use protracker too :)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I didn't reached to my goal, bcoz my goal was composing for an amiga game, but
there were much better musicians at those times.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Hmm. synchronization, merging the tracks with the games/demos atmosphere..
selection of samples. there are many.. :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I do. generally for professional.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Some were always there :) ..there is no way to stop the improvement, I don't
like mpeg too much, but I used those formats many times. in some cases
listening things on hardware is always better.. (u probably know what I mean :) )

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • hmm. there were alot. some game tunes. some demo.

...maybe "gods" ? :) "commando", "last ninja", the demo "love", wow! I can't
remember those names some demo tunes of kefrens... knulla kuk!!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. they were not well composed tunes :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Kraftwerk (since 1981, still listen to them), fsol, styrofoam, chris liebing,
photek, les rythmes digitales, mirwais, ricardo villalobos etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Friends. friendship. in real I wasn't really too much in the scene. .. but the
machines gave me hundreds of knowledge, improved me in many fields.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I want to greet all those guys who know me. and thank you very much for this
    nice suprise.
