  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It all started in 1985 when i got my first c-64. I was sold, could not sleep or
    do my homework.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • c-64 (5) - My first c64 was stolen due a burglery, the others was stolen or
    sold.

128D - Sold because my girlfriend at the time forced me to choose between my
    128 and my new amiga.

Amiga 500 (4) - Sold them or broke them.

Amiga 1200 (2) - Sold one to get money to food and rent. The other one is right here
    beside me.
    Some pc's

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • After a while I woundered how they make these games, and I tried basic. I was
later told that basic was not the language to be used, so i tried to find
someone who know asm. Noone had the time to show me so i quit trying to learn
how to program a game. Then a friend of mine showed me a editor(tracker) on the
c-64. As I've been playing piano since i was 5 years old and love to make music
i found this more fun than programming.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Wow, don't remember them all but on the c-64 i've tried about 4-5 composers
before I found the one that fitted me. It was System 6581's composer sent to
me and my friend after begin for about a year. On the amiga i've used protracker
    mostly.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I've haven't yet :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • A tune i made at Horizon 89 in stockholm, sweden.
I showed it to some of my friends at the party and they all liked it.
Then i showed it to a wellknown musician who told me i didn't fit in the c-64
scene, that i should buy myself an amiga instead because it was not a "c-64 tune".
Since then i've just released 4 mods.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Without sound you just have nice effects but no feeling.
The music can make a demo/game a hit or a flop. No matter how good a demo is,
is the music bad you can not like the demo. It has no feeling.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Just started tracking again :) Maybe i'll release something at underscore in
    gothenburg, sweden.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Depends on what you do with it. I do not think that you should have mp3
    competitions at a demoparty thou.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Blood money - Fredrik Segerfalk
Best tune ever. No questions about that.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • No bands realy. Anything good.
Trance, goa, DB, hardrock, metal, jazz, classic, anything that make me feel
    good.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Tough question. Happiness and friendship?
Don't know realy. It is all just plain fun.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes. Organizing a true sceneparty in gothenburg, sweden.
No gamers at all. Don't like them, don't want them.
If someone like to play games, they have a lot of gamerpartys.
Even "our" old big partys like The party in denmark is now gamerpartys.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Keep the scene alive. Do not become a gamer.
