Date of birth: 7th of september 1976

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I usually went to a friends house to play games on the c64, that must have been in the early
eighties 83 and 84. Later on I was saving money so I could Afford my own personal Commodore 64
wich I bought after my nine year birthday in 1985.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My first computer was a C64 which I later upgraded to the Amiga 500 Kickstart 1.2, later on I got
an Amiga 500 with kickstart 1.3, and ended up havin' an Amiga 1200 I only used my C64 for games,
but I loved the music in these games and wondered how that was done. It was when I got my first
Amiga I ran into a tracker program in 1992 I started composing on the computer. I have always
been interrested in electronic music, and I started playin' at an age of 3 year on piano and later
    on electronic keyboards.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • As I mentioned earlier it was the music in these games that really got my attention, It was always
the music I could remember, eaven after the games were forgotten the music always lived on.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started with NoiseTracker I can't remember what version, and later on I used soundtracker, or
was it the other way around? anyway I ended up using Protracker on the Amiga, and I am now using
fasttracker on my PC. But I am seriously looking out for some more advanced Hard and Software these
    days.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I have never felt I have reached my goal in any of my tunes. I made them for fun, and if someone
liked them then afcouse I was happy with that.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • My early stuff (^_^)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music in a Game or Demo for that matter is vary important, it surrounds the game/demo/player/
watcher in an atmosphere of thrills and enjoyment. A game or demo without a soundtrack is like
wathcin' a horror movie without it's Score.

I have eaven bought crap-games just for their great soundtracks:-)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am not composing vary often these days due to the limitations with tracking programs. Though I
have composed a music track for a Danish Short film called Moedet Aka The Meeting, and I have
been contacted by a foreign software firm who asked for permission for using two of my tunes for
one of there games (they specialises in games for the PDA Pocket PCs), which I obvious gave them!

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I like them, though i am not much of a Midi freak.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • There are tons and tons of tunes I like, though I do have some favorite composers I really enjoy
    listening to.

Here they are in no particually order:

    1. Martin galway
    2. Rob Hubbard
    3. Reyn Ouwehand
    4. Jeroen tel
    5. Tim Follin
    6. Johannes Bjerregaard
    7. Chris Huelsbeck
    8. Stephen Picq
    9. Jesper Kyd
    10. Martin Ivesen (Nuke)

And tons of others like Lizardking and so on!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Nope, not at the moment, but some day maybe!

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Besides game / demo music, I listen to Michael Stearns, Steve Roach, Brian Eno, Jean Michel Jarre,
vangelis, Orbital, juno reactor, Kenji Kawai and tons of other great composers, I especially
like film scores for Sci-fi & Horro movies

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A Great youth, with alot of friends;-)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not Really, though I go buy almost every reliesed CD/ DVD related to the scene, and I try to
    attend to some gatherings.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Shalkes and beers must go out to: X-Morph, Zonix, Bonehead, Jones Gfx and ofcouse
    my whole family.

And ofcouse to you guys at AMP for preserving the Amiga Scene (^_^)
