  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Got a Spectrum when I was 9 which was erm. 1985. After a couple of weeks
i started typing in the programs which came with it.. Before i knew
    it I was hooked :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Spectrum 48k/+/+2 - coded many things in Basic and z80 asm.
still have some projects which I plan to finish :))
    Also played some games.

Dragon 32 - did some gfx programs in 6502 and basic.

Sinclair QL - again more programming. the QL had a 68008 so this was my
first motorola 68000 series machine :)

Acorn Electron - made many basic programs and a 3d editor and some other things in
6502 asm. yes I know.. a poor mans bbc :))

Atari XE - mostly just played games on this :)

the machine si had setup and running and which i now use
on a daily basis are my

    C64/1541 (both original models)
    a500/7mb ram/540mb hd/cdrom/ham-e gfx adapter etc.
    a1200/030/10mb ram/7gig of hd's/40x cdrom
    a3000/060/2gig hd/cybervision643d gfx card/toccata sound card/emplant

and other various pieces of hardware also.

oh and I also have other 8 bitters and some older machines like
my HP9100b from 1969. which is now quite collectable

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I dont make music.. just my music website. I still code regularly on my
    Amigas too

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Well as im not a musician, I never really made much. However I have
used many music software on my amigas and c64 and other machines.
    but mostly playing around :)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • ... :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • All of them :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Very important to me. It sets the mood and so on :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • ... :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • cant comment on a audio format. I listen to a tune.. if I like it I keep it :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Lethal Xcess - Jochel Hippel
    Turrican 2 - Chris Huelsbeck
    Jim Power - Chris Huelsbeck
    Parallax - Martin Galway
    Wizball - Martin Galway
    Robocop - Jonathan Dunn
    Ghouls'n'Ghosts - Follin Bros
    Sly Spy - Follin Bros
    Bionic Commando - Follin Bros

i'll stop now. this list goes on and on
I love also many classic mods from the amiga demo scene..
works from Romeo Knight, Audiomonster and so

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • ... :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I dont really listen to any in partiicular. i like various music.
I listen to everything from Classical to Drum and Bass

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Well. it gives me pleasure I suppose.. hmm i'm
not sure quite what to answer to this :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sure :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Hi to all those who help with my website and keep the Amiga
going with their Demos, Programs, Support, Ideas, Inspiration, Creativity
    etc.
