  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My dad was buying a computer when I was a little boy. It has been around 82/83
    when the C64 came out.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I had a C16 and coded a little bit in BASIC.

I had a Mattel Aquarius and was coding, too with it, but mostly gaming.

I had a VC20 and coded a little bit in BASIC.

I had a C64 and was coding, too with it, but mostly gaming.

I had an Amiga where I learnt some coding languages and began semi-pro coding,
training games. Later I started to do music and specialized on it.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I was moving from The Publishers to Submission and in case of that I released
a short "movetro". I needed music, but wanted to all by myself. In former times
I played a little bit with Protracker like everyone did with the neat ST-01
discs. So I organized more sample discs and began to compose...

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker, Fasttracker and at the late Amiga time the megamighty OctaMED.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I loved my fist one, because it was simple but groove. On partypool line (MTV
Hotline) when the blueboxing time was in, one played my tune and he really
liked it. This was my drive to continue making music.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Oh.. there were some I really hated, but other people liked them. Especially
techno was the style I did not like, but was easy to produce. Today I am a
    techno/electronic junkeeeeeeee.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Very important. If a bass and cool gfx rules the demo/game it makes a special
    feeling.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, my first vinyl is pressed and on some samplers you can find me, too. I do
it more semi-pro, because time is what I miss mostly.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Nothing more than okay. MIDIs are good for handy tunes. Most mp3s available
    are very commercial music styles.

I hate charts, because 1st the people can not really decide what they want to
listen to and 2ndly is much of the commercial music lowest quality and just
    one keyboard press... really mass

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • There are many...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • You can leech my music on my website for free!

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Just vinyl when I am on stage with turntables.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • I am out of, now, but I love to meet old friends on totalkaos.de

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I released a little musictro (code by me) on Evoke 2003 and some little tools.

At the moment I do redesign and recode of a Scene website.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • ALL SCENERS who think REAL friendship is still alive.
