  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I just played computer games (and got paid for it 'cause these years nobody
of my friends had a computer) and i was very interested with all of
electronic stuff as a user. :) I can't remember the year when it started,
    maybe early 1990's (91-92...)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I played much with my old ZX Spectrum when i was about 10-11 years young...
not only playing, of course, but drawing with "Art Studio" and trying to
compose something with "Wham! The Music Box". :) Basic programms, game cheats
    and other stuff.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • First, i was in music before getting a computer.. playing a balalaika (an
russian ethnical stringed instrument, if you don't know what is it ;) and
piano in musical school. Later i learned guitar.
Second, i tried to draw or code.. it seems that i have no qualities for
being a good artist/coder. :) So i started to learn tracking, and it was really
    fun and interesting for me.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I used to work with Scream Tracker 2/3, Velvet Studio, Impulse Tracker 2,
ModPlug Tracker, ReNoise. Impulse became the best "classic" PC tracker for me.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • :) don't know, time changes minds.. maybe "Incompatible" or "The Vibes".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Of course, i have a lot of crappy and unreleased tunes, but i like
it in some ways. It is part of my inner world. :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Have never composed for demo or game project. What can i say?.. In a demo:
making an rhytmic flow and atmposphere; and in a game: nice fone and melodies,
may be?.. i just don't know english so well to describe my thoughts
    perfectly. :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, i am still tracking and doing it for my leisure. It's kinda hard to
became a pro with tracker programs.. may be ReNoise or Sonar will help me
in future to get professional sound.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I'm not thinking about it, i'm just listening to.. ;)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • It could be a huge list if i write all my favourite tunes :) Some of them:
"Dan Dare 3"/"Robocop 3"/"Alien 3" by Jeroen Tel, "Don't be afraid of me" by
Lesnik, "Dark" by Belial, "Toy Summer" by Tangerine, "Waterfall" by 4-mat,
most tunes of Ygrek, Liam the Lemming, Dizzy, Radix, Necros etc.. my thanx to
a lot of musician for their great music.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Maybe in future.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • The same situation as with question n10. There are a lot of bands and
musicians :) Ambient, idm, new age, j-pop, dnb, grunge, instrumental...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of excellent tunes.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, maybe a bit slow with releases, but i hope continue with tracking and
    scene related activity.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greets to everyone who need it. :) Make music, demo, graphics, write
feedbacks, organize compos and demoparties... keep scene spirit alive.
