  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • firstly through gaming on commodore64. from the start, i had a fascination
with crack intros on the games i was playing. later i found demos and the
whole scene and thought i would join in the fun.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • 1. atari - games :)
    2. commodore64 - games, utils
    3. amiga500 - scene, games, music, graphics
    4. amiga1200 -
    5. pc - ...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • i tried everything in my scene career :) i liked music, gfx, ascii, swapping..
unfortunately i wasn't very good at any of them!
a Jack of all trades...master of none!

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • protracker, reason

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • ?

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • some of my early attempts were aweful. i guess that is the case with
    most people starting out.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • incredibly important. great demo's need great tunes or else it's
not the complete package. sound/music in gaming is now a high priority
for producers...music can provide a lot of atmosphere.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • only leisure. i mess about with reason2...but only get as far making patterns
and mixing sounds in and out. i don't complete anything...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • huh?

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • too hard to pick..

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • nope...but i plan to make a CD of my chip tunes one day.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • stone roses, placebo, supergrass, powderfinger, stereophonics, manic street
preachers. lots of hip-hop/breaks and acid techno.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • i liked that is was an underground culture that not a lot of people knew about.
for a long time in the scene i had never met another scener in person. i also
travelled to europe and met some scene friends which i thought was great. but
the best thing is that it was art! i love art and demos for me are the art of
    the future :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • not really... still some contact with some scene friends tho.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • my old pal crown for asking me do this interview :)
all members of my old groups planet.jazz, limited edition, devious, kronical,
etc... my old swapper pals and gone/voi and tecon/planet.jazz for taking me
into their homes when i visited europe.
