  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Was around 1983-1984... first wathing my uncle with his PC XT, and after with my cousin with his MSX,
that was my first computer years later. I never had much money to get any computer, when I finally got mine,
was too late, MSX was almost dead. I only got my first PC on 1993. Always love programming and movies about that.
When I saw the first MOD songs and the Demos I simply loved anything.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • MSX 1.1 - I still have it! :D
    PC 386DX 40mhz, updated until reach a Pentium 100mhz in 1995,
when I bought a new computer done the last update to Pentium 200mhz, which I still have it.
PC Pentium 3 800mhz 512mb from 2000, sold the parts after MOBO dies in 2005.
    PC Pentium 4 2.4ghz 1gb from 2004, updated to Pentium 4 3ghz in 2005. I still have it!
    PC Pentium 4 3ghz 1gb from 2005, yeah, it's another one! I still have it too... :D
    PC Core 2 Duo E6600 2gb from 2007, 2 months of use now! :P

OMG! I never realized that I never sold my old computers until reply to this interview!
(aside P3 that will be much expensive to fix)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Nice question, I love the 3 paths... really love graphics, and I'm not bad for a amateur,
I'm almost studied that in my graduation, but I studied computers, and I'm a system analist right now,
aside I never coded for a demo, I'm coding for more than 15 years for different purposes.
I love to modify games, and one of my dreams is work with them, what is almost impossible in my country.

Well, I start to do music mainly because my idols in music when I was a kid, I think like everyone else,
I loved the shows, and want to one day do something similar, have a band, success, a lot of money... :D
and I went to a path that I never thought about it before... but I still seek for my dreams.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • 1st was MODEDIT... 2nd was Fasttracker II for many years 1993-2002.

Used FruityLoops for only 4 songs and got my first song produced by myself released,
(I got one released in 1999 with my lyrics).

Than I found Renoise, which I'm a freak user since 2002.
I won many contests with this software, and had almost 20 tracks released.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • My goal is be perfect (what is impossible), and I'm still far away for that...
and I'm always wanting more... :P

but my first song that I believed was really good (at least for me) was composed in 1991,
and programmed in 1995, was never released or ever shared, called "Out of my mind".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • no, I think all tracks even the first ones had his value in my music development.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • without a good music, no one will stop to watch any video, or play...
at least I'll turn off if the music/sounds sucks!

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, and for both reasons...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think it's great, anyone can able to share his art, and we can find many great stuff outhere,
aside also put many trash online, that give us a little work to filter what listen, and what you not listen anymore... :D

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • In tracked music? I remember the tunes, but I can't remember the names right now... sorry.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I already did in 1998... is just a CDR, but it's a kind of CD remastered. :P

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Mesh, Droom, Statemachine, Fake The Envy, Distain, James D. Stark, The Mission, and many more...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • I never had the pleasure of be in that scene, I never had an amiga, but love the work that I saw in my PC and was a inspiration for me, like saying "it's possible!"... :P

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • All my songs released are tracked music, almost using Renoise...
I'm a tracker, and I'm not ashemed to say that... but about the scene, I think I never was much active,
I only love to listen the tunes, watch the demos, and learn what I can reading the codes...

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Thanks to all that had help me in some way over all these years!
Also to all the Bands, Artists and Labels evolved with my work.
