  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My interest for computers started in 1989. That was first time when i saw
C-64 at my pal's house. And it draw me in.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • For a long time i was frequently using my pal's computers. I played games, of
course. And then came first tries of creating something new in graphic and
music programs. In 1991 my parent's bought me an Amiga500, which i own till
today. Presently i'm working on Amiga1200/040T.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I was always interested in music. My need of creating sounds, melodies was
really natural. I never thought about it why music was more important for me
than graphics or coding, for example.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started with Sonix. It required many patience, because allsounds in it
should be set manually. It wasn't trouble for me. More important was
possibility of creating my own music (synthetic). The next was SoundTracker
and Protracker. I'm still using the second one. In the meantime i changed my
interest into MIDI, and i'm still into it. For over two years i worked on
Music-X, and then i changed it to Bars'n'Pipes, and i'm very satisfied
    using it.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • bhI was interested in music from my childhood. I was changing only
instruments. From cymbals, accordion, keyboard, till computer. That's why
when i wrote my first module i got a feeling, that this is what i always
    wanted to do.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • I don't remember such a tune.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In my opinion music in demos, games is the same important like in movies.
It's an element which gives production a specific climat. It allows affects
viewers emotions. It is very important.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes. I'm composing music on synthetizers by using MIDI. I'm still doing it
    for pleasure.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think that new formats makes musician life easier (and that's not all),
and are very usefull in our work.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The music is more important to me than it's names. I'm not going to give
You any song titles, and i prefer to give You some nicknames of people. I
like scene music of Jazzcat, Jogeir, Vesuri, Heatbeat, Revisq, Dizzy or
    Dune...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I already got it. I recorded it with my friend as "Remote Spaces" project.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I like: Tangerine Dream, Rainbow Serpent, Air Sculpture
    Solists: Klaus Schulze, Vangelis

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • I met many cool people on the Amiga scene.I'm still in contact with few of
    them.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • For a few years i'm off the scene. Although i'm always trying to watch what
    is currently happening on it.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I'm sending warm hellos to: Popcorn, Juma, Jazzcat, Korbatz, Noster, Bax,
    Pippen, Wierza, Smajk ,Madbart, Carlos....
