  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • At the age of 6, my father put me in front of an old computer, some kind of pc,
    8086 style ..

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I started out with pc's which I've had all along since the age of 6, besides
    that I've had the classic amiga500 .. I haven't owned a C64/128 ever :P ..

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Because I suck at coding, and I dont have enough spirit or imagination for
    creating graphic art :P

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started out with mahoney & kaktus tracker; noisetracker.. I've used
startrekker, protracker, and that 8channel tracker made by someone from
fairlight, I just can't seem to remember his nick .. when fasttracker came out
on the PC, I started using that, and fasttracker II later on .. FT2 is the
tracker I'm using nowadays, besides Reason 2.5 .. I used spacepigs pc tracker
for some time too, though :P

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hard question .. is there a goal? :P
I'm not sure im satisfied with any track, but maybe: "pandemonium", "twilite
    sleep", "emergency inbound", "evolution"

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yeah lots of stupid stuff with strange samples in them, for example: h-o-c,
    p-rave

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • 50/50 .. no music == no demo feeling.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Well, im using reason 2.5 nowadays, and tracking only chipmods :P
But only for leisure, I got a "normal" job as a network technician
(cisco/windows etc) .. music still is a BIG part of my life

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • They all sound the same, mostly .. oldschool chipmusic and old 4channel mods
    from 1988-1995 that's what I listen to, still :P ..

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • "enigma / a final hyperbase" by mantronix & tip / phenomena
all the tracks by mahoney & kaktus - the guys who taught me tracking over
    phone :P
    all the tracks by quazar
    "scupping around" by heatbeat
    "uralvolga fine" by bruno
    "ninja remedy" by illmidus
    "back on track" by soul
most of the tracks by uncle tom ("poseidon", "savannah",
    "spell-ameloriation" etc)
    facet's chipmods
    "KAOS" by diablo / budbrain
.. man, the list is getting long :P

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, not really :P

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Umm .. lisa ekdahl, astral projection, peaches, samira said, hux flux,
    DLK, blümchen

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • LOTS and lots of happy memories from demoparties, tracking in the middle
of the night, waking up having ideas that needed to be tracked right away.. all
    the people, irc, etc

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes and no, depends on how you look at it :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Yeah, mahoney & kaktus for bringing me into the scene, illmidus @ scene.se,
lunardog, daru, onyx (northsea), kw, tager, dasse, lizardking, vain
quazar, zalt, flare, pluto, daru, tranz, idle, erektor (erek), goolum
FOR FUCKS sake guys get in touch :P
