  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1984, when I got my first computer, a commodore 64! I remember it was
delivered with the game "A View To A Kill" ;)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • It started with a c64, Amiga 500, A2000, A4000, and finally the PC,
    starting at 90Mhz, 166Mhz, PII 300Mhz ++++ too many here, don't remember
    the exact ladder...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well, I tried graphics a bit, but grew attached to music from the very beginning. I've
always been fond of music, and since both me and my 2 siblings played el organ, it came
    naturally.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundmon, Soundtracker, Noisetracker, Protracker, Bugmon, Sidmon, Fred-editor,
Fast-tracker, Skaletracker, Cakewalk and now Cubase SX 3.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hnnn... when I think back 12-15 years, probably Mystified was the first module I really was
proud of. Then came the music for Dizzy Tunes 2, including Guitar Slinger, Out of Silence,
    Oro Incenso and such...

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yes!! There are several infact.. there are many modules on the net, released without my
acknowledge, simply beginnings and such... but it's a long time ago, and I've put it all
    behind me.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music "speaks" for itself really. No matter where you use it, in a demo, game,
commercials and movies... If you don't have the proper music, it's dull and boring from
    A-Z.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am still composing, yes. I am currently working on my CD no 2, and it will be called "Out
of Silence", won't say more about that. It will be a mixed old-school/new tracks, all made
in a pro studio with superior sound-quality.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I haven't heard many "scene"-music the last years, though I am a fan of the remix-sites
like remix64, both C64 and Amiga-music. Mostly mp3/ogg-format. I seldom download any midi
-or wave-tunes.. Sometimes I download tunes from parties held around in Europe, but I can't
say I'm impressed. Perhaps if someone could tip me about some recent good scene-musicians?

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hmm.... well, there are maaaany tunes I really adore, and I still play them regularly on
Deliplayer, which is a superb player for all kind of formats! Tunes from games are among my
favourites; 7 gates of jambala, Amberstar, Chambers of Shaolin (all by Hippel). The
Turrican II tunes by Chris Huelsbeck and many more... When it comes to modules, I am a
hardcore fan of Fleshbrain, Walkman, Codex and many more...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Well... I already made a CD, back in 1999, which can be bought at www.lynnemusic.com

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Seal, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, ABBA and many more...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of experience for sure! I have been active from 1991-2000 at least, and still "visit"
the "golden times" with use of emulators :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope, I have to grow up some time you know :) ... no, seriously, there's no time for that
    anymore...

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings to all old-school musicians and fellow-sceners around the world! Feel free to
contact me if you are in need of music for a production. Visit my official site at
