  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I had my first computer in 1985. It was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum with 48KB
    RAM

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Sinclair ZX Spectrum - playing games, coding
C64 - playing games, doing music
    Atari ST - playing games
    AMIGA - games,music,coding,gfx,
    PC - internet, music, coding

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Hmm.. i tried everything. But i´m not talented for any of that things.
But music was a passion for me since i was really a kid. So i tried
    to compose...

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • WAM (zx pectrum)
    Soundmaster (c64)
Soundtracker, Protracker, AON, THX, Sonic Arranger, Startracker (amiga)
    Fasttracker (PC)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hard question. I wasnt really satisfied with any of my tunes.
But tunes like FAME (THX), ACID POP (PROTRACKER) & THE FINAL
    (Fasttracker)
are goinf in the right direction.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • A good example is PIANO MADNESS. Hopefully no one have this song.
It´s so damn ugly that im really ashamed of it. I composed it
    in 1989-1990 or so...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music have to fit to the whole thing. That´s all imho

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure
  • purposes?

Im trying to get abit into professional midi recording. I have alot of
equipment at home and i wrote recently my very own miditracker that fits
my needs. So an upcoming cd is very sure...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as
  • mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

No special interrest on my side

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The last tune in the OXYRON C64 demo comalight #11 by PRI!
PRI is one of the very best computer composers of all time imho.

Jochen Hippels introtune for Lethal Excess and his PREHISTORIC TALE
tune (that was 100% covered by Jogeir Liljedahl in the AMIGA demo FULL
    MOON)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music
  • remastered?

    Yep. See above.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Pink Floyd (alot), Mezzofrote, Dave Brubeck, Van Halen, Jamiroquai,
    Queen
and many more *real music* groups that can play there instruments
(insteaad of playing around with hi- and low pass filters on a saw wave)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Really fun and enjoyment in the last 10 years.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sure.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Where is the sense to use to *destructive* music
in nowadays music. Muffler, Dune and all those other
crazy guys who replaced harmaony and melody with
breakbeat and distorted drums!? What do you thing?!
Do you really like that! I cant understand this thing..
sorry.. maybe im a bit too ´oldschool´.

    And for last:

Techno is decomposed (as Jogeir said long time ago)
