  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • my mate at the time made music on an amiga and program called
oktalyzer. it was back in the early 1989 when i then highly interested
of all that got my first amiga, which was an a500 of cos :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • A500 (89-93), A600 (93-95), A1200 (95-98), A1200T (97-98), A1400 (98-).
i've always been into composing. and that's what i've been doing for the
    whole lot :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • as said. composing interested me since i had seen the basics on my
friend's amiga. i had played some sucky 80's keyboards for fun and this
all looked so good way of producing something better than those pathetic
sounds that were provided in the cheap'o'synths back then :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • oktalyzer, protracker, hearttracker, digiboosterpro.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • my latest 20channel compotune for the abduction'98 multichannel
    competition :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • haha... a lot of those ;) most of my old modules suck so that
i wouldn't even dare to put all em to aminet. there are already
too many mods that suck in my directory :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • i couldn't imagine a demo without music, just like i couldn't imagine one
without graphics or code :-) well what would it be without code? it sure
wouldn't be anything interesting without the deposit of all these
together, and sure music is very important part of it.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • sure i am. as said i'm moved onto digiboosterpro cos it has a lot of
great options and effects, besides of the multichannel capabilities and
XM saving. it also supports my soundcard. i'm composing for both, but
it's nothing _TOO_ professional yet. but at least i've been playing live a
    lot.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • mpeg is a great way of spreading your own music if it cannot be used
otherwise on dozens of different platforms. wav files are just too big
so it's good idea to pack it (well pack AIFF ;)
midi would possibly be my favourite but i'm too poor and can't afford
    to synths and other equipment.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • if i would, it wouldn't ring any bells cos i mostly respect the ones
that are made for professional use, and not many people have heard them.
but sure there are some that i've enjoyed too. can't remember anyway,
i've done so many tracks during the time being ;)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • well, not if i have to pay the project :) i'm all the time looking for
more record companies. besides of that small contract i have with TRSI
Recordz. one track was previously released on Cyberlogik 3.11 compilation
and another one will be out on the Cyberlogik 4 (double CD) that should
    be out next summer.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • my music taste is pretty wide actually. i was quite into techno back some
years so i couldn't even think of listening anything else. but techno
became too mainstream so that i kind of felt that it all missed something
that was been before, when it still was underground, and i suppose that
when i've come "older" it has made me more open minded towards different
    music styles.
but all in all i listen drum'n'bass, triphop, jazz, techno, breakbeat,
electro, some pop (ohYEAH! :) and of cos MODs.
some of my all time favourites are..:

aphex twin (polygon window, afx, blue calx, caustic window etc..)
autechre, roni size, speedy j, orbital, james hardway, fuse and
    radiohead..

and that wasn't even close to all i can listen to :)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • a lot of fun. it's become too serious too.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • sure i am. even in smaller amounts but i do enjoy my time there
fully, even it is mostly boozing on scene parties :-)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • yea of cos. all who like my music and my girlfriend. peace and
    respects.
