  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • back when the very first Amiga 1000 Computers came to Germany...
half year earlier i saw MONTY AN RUN on a friends c64, from this
Point it was clear , i need one too.......a bit lucky i was that i had
not directly the money for C64,Floppy,SpeedDos etc etc etc....
so half year later or something i got the money for the c64...but ofcourse
i bought an A1000 ... thats how it was started.
btw: the year i dont know exactly .... over 20 year ago that all...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?
  • Amiga 1000, A500,A2000,HD and all that shit...
and at Work (known Software Company!) i Composed the whole Day (nah! not!)...
Producing and Publishing Games and later i was Producer (together with my Sister)
of Software like SidMon 1 + 2 , RectAngle , Cosmo Ranger, Chinese Karate, Vindex
    all on Amiga! (AtariST)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Becaus i liked it more to play with Sid's instead wih Pixels... and the other reason
was that i Managed that Sidmon 1+2 thing!.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Sidmon 1+2 , Protrackers... and the first experince i made with SoundTracker
    from Karsten Obarski

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • no one .... ill never liked my musik really... friends told me to
use them for this or that... thats all about... but maybe with some
Sidmon Sounds i got nearly that Goal!.... hehehe

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • own made ones which were Bad Sounds i Deleted them. so theres
    really no tune ....

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • important! but has also to do which kind of game/demo the music
    is for.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • YES! indeed i do ... but cannot more say about that!....

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • well... i liked more to experience with waveforms and sid's etc.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Rob Hubbard (Monty on Run, thing on a spring etc.) martin Galway, jochen Hippel
Chris Hüslbeck all these dudes earn my BIGGEST RESPECT... and there are lots more!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • wish i had the time for this!....

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • well i still like BREAKDANCE Musik Erik B&Rakim, africa Bambaata,Grandmaster flash
