  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In 1982 when my brother bought a Vic-20. Later (1987), I bought the vic-20
from him. I still have it (and use it).

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I still have all computers I have owned (except for the Amiga500). I went from
Vic-20 to C64 to Amiga500 to Amiga1200 to PC and then back to my Amiga1200
again when my PC broke down. So today I am using my 11 years old Amiga as my
main computer. I am also something of a Commodore 8bit collector and I now
    have 3 vic20s, 1 c64, 2 C128s and one C128D.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I do coding (and some gfx) too, but music is closest to my heart.
I've always made music. Before I got the amiga, I made tunes by recording
and "bouncing" between two tape recorders. The amiga really made it all
a lot easier. The tracker programs was also a lot easier to use than
the c64 music programs I had used before. And being able to play around
with real samples was like a dream at first when I got the amiga 500.
But as I said, I've been programming too. My most known amiga program
must be the script language "Selector". You will find my software here
    on my site

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Most of my mods was made with Protracker 2.x on the Amiga. I have
also been using Noise tracker, Digibooster and StarTrekker.
Then I started to use Octamed Soundstudio for Midi, but now I am
using Bars&Pipes Pro for midi, synced to a Roland VS1680 (24bit digital
studio workstation.) If I would make a mod on the Amiga today, it would
    be with DigiBooster.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hard question. Maybe with my very last long mod "Day Unknown".
But many say they like "Forn" best... Most of the time, I have
been quite happy with my mods.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?
  • Of course... Because they didn't turn out well... ;-)
No need to mention any ;-)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • That depends. A game or demo can sure be lifted a couple of
points with good music, (as well as the opposite). But the
taste in music is so individual... During game play I think
I prefer no music at all... Then you can turn on your stereo
intead with some music you like better ;-)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes. I compose and record in my home music studio. Today I play almost
everything for real - guitars, bass, drums, keyboards etc... I also sing
on some songs. My goal is to eventually get published and make money on it.
In the mean time, I have sold a couple (about 80-90) of home made CDs to the
    true fans. ;-)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • The formats? They are all good tools in making music and sharing it. Mp3 can
be your best friend before you get a record contract. But it will
probably be your worst enemy after you get it.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Very hard to say. I think I'll pass...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I think I've allready done that ;-) But my main goal is
to put some new music on a real CD to get published.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listening to?

  • I can't say that I actively listen to music much. I am so much involved
im music myself that I have to rest my ears... But my favorite
group of all time is the Christian rock group "Petra".

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Some nice demos to look at ;-)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, and I've never been.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I would like to thank everyone who have sent me
friendly emails about my music and also thanks to everyone who have
bought my home made CDs and encoaraged me to carry on.
