  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • - In 1991. I bought an Amiga500. First I wanted to be a graphician, but I
soon found Protracker more amusing. In the beginning I wasn't really aware
of the scene, I didn't really know what it was. I used a lot of time on
    games. But then I got to know some guys that was interested in the scene;
they had a background from the C-64. I got more aware of what the scene
was, and I started to understand more of demos.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • - None.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • - When I was younger (up to 12-13 years old), I was more interested in
drawing and painting. When I was 14, I got more interested in music generally,
not only related to the Amiga. I started to develop my own taste.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • - OctaMed, Protracker, Digibooster, Fasttracker2.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I'am never 100% satisfied with anything I make. If you feel you have reached
a goal, you should always set a new one. If you want to make good music, you
have always new things to learn. Maybe I get to a station now and then.
(But I felt I made a good tune for the flux-demo by Ephidrena.
    (Smoking Astronauts.)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • - My tune zetrolancer from a KG-party. It has an awful drumloop, and
there's no punch. Some of the samples have a bad filter-quality, and
the tune generally could have been done different.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • - Watching a demo with no sound is like watching a film with no sound.
Boring. If the demo has bad music, it doesn't matter if the code and the gfx
are great. The demo will never be a good demo. Bad or no timing is also pretty
boring. Take a look at Megademo2000 from TP. No timing. BORING.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm still in the scene making 4-channels, but I hope to do more multichannels
in the future. I sing in a pop-rock-thing-band. There I make music using
guitars, keyboards. I have also composed some classical stuff when I studied
    music for two years.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well I think it has opportunities we didn't have before. Now you can send a
tune in pretty good quality via mail, you can upload music you have recorded at
home, you can make music with your computer and equalise it until it sounds
professional. It's easier for everyone to make and publish music. (It's
easier to make music, but not to make GOOD music!)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • - Scene: Overload by Tip & Mantronix. Synergy by Bitarts. Probably the best
oldschoolartist. Me and my Kaikal by Muffler. Music for TimeOut by Muffler?
Ox king size bull by Mellow-D. A shogun named Paul by Radix. Sunflower-compo
by Falcon. Zzzzzbla by Dune. Real life: Let down by Radiohead. Let there be
light by Astral Projection. Nothing left by Orbital. Windowlicker by Aphex
Twin. With or without you by U2. Voodoo People by Prodigy.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • - Yes I am. I hope in the future to make some good multichannels.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • - Rock/pop: Radiohead, Limp Bizkit(the first album), U2, Pink Floyd,
The Doors, Korn, Deftones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Built To Spill,
    RATM,
    - Goa: Pleiadians, Astral Projection, Dimension5, MFG, Prana.
    - Electric: The Orb, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Alania, Bjørk.
    - Classical: Stravinskij, Rachmaninov, Mozart.
    - Jazz: Miles Davis, John Coltrane.
    And many others...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • - Some cool intros before playing games with my buddies in the old days.
Some fun times with the best demos shown at parties.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, mostly with the Amiga, making demos with our beloved group ephidrena
But I hope to make music for PC aswell, and later expand to
    Cubase/Logic-kinda-music.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Teo for calling me drunk at New Years Eve.
    Punisher for good mood.
Ephidrenas for giving me great times in life.
Azzaro for being drunk at Mekka. (
    All polish Amysceners.
    All I forgot
