  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?
  • I got my fist real computer when I was about 8 (Amstrad). I was mostly into
gaming and got the Amiga500 a year or so after it's release. After my mate
Ali-B bought some demos I just loved them and bought more and more. This was
    the late 80's, early 90's.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I've had an Amstrad CPC464 (with mono screen!), Amiga500 & Amiga1200.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I started using using GMC (hows that for old!) when I was really young but
couldn't work it properly and wanted to learn more. A couple of my mates were
into playing drums and they were doing drum tracks so I just continued doing
other music stuff. I did do some graphics but they were pretty poor to say the
    least.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Having tried out lots of different softwares through the years I eventually
stuck with Octamed v4. I was used to this and didn't experiment with any others
    thereafter.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • It's hard to say really. I started doing some tunes with my guitarist mate
Thomas Styge. The possiblility was there for some good tunes but as it turned
out the scene grew ever smaller and it was all over.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Not really. I did plenty of crap tunes!

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music in a demo gave unlimited possibilities. When rotating cubes became
boring the tunes were always still gripping (or at least sometimes).

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I have only recently fired the 1200 back up. I lost the vast majority of the
1300 or so disks I had.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I'm not a big PC fan so I know very little about these formats.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The music by Moby from the Sanity-Arte demo was in my opinion easily the finest
ever composed on the Amiga. I also liked Kaktus&Mahoneys first music disk also.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I wouldn't say it's worth it for me.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Aphex-Twin, Autechre, u-ziq and lots of other electronic stuff. I still enjoy
the Stone Roses and Talking Heads though.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A reason to get out of bed when I was on the dole! But seriously. It made me
part of a small community which in itself was very interesting. Everyone on
the scene had a role to play, and regardless of what it was, we could all get
on with it and enjoy it. This really was the golden age of home computing.
It's a pity there's not something similar today.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I wasn't aware there was still an Amiga scene. For the PC scene, nah, it
    wouldn't have the same vibe.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Make no mistake .o0 Amiga Rules Forever 0o.
