  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My family purchased an Amiga computer in 1985, I've held interest in computers
    since that time.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Amiga 1000 - This is the first machine which I discovered the tracking program
"Noisetracker", and made my first basic tunes on it.

Amiga 2000 - A huge improvement over the 1000 machine, it allowed me to run
    "Protracker" with improved features.

Pentium 60mhz - One of the original Pentium machines. I discovered "FastTracker2"
on this machine, and my musical skill skyrocketed. Various other Pentium
    machines...

Despite the growing capabilities of computers, I still find that FastTracker2
offers the best interface available. On all of my computers I am very heavy
    into gaming.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Actually, I do both coding and composing, but I don't have the talents/interest
    for graphics.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I have used many, but by far I have spent the most time with FastTracker 2. It
has an elegant user-interface, and runs very smoothly.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I don't feel as though I have reached my goal yet, actually. My goal is to
create something which is used in a project that is bigger than I am.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • My tune "Neptune Day 2" in which I learned that there are just some genres
    that I cannot do.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • A game with good music is a game you will always remember. There are some games
which would not have been successful at all without music. Can you imagine the
    Final Fantasy series without music?

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Currently I am still composing, and would like to do it profesionally.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I have never liked MIDI simply due to the fact that it requires a huge budget
to even think about using it. As for MP3, it is good for music in general, not
so great for the module/demoscene though.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • As far as my own songs go, I have to say I really like how "Space Flight" turned
out, as well as my newest song "Midnight Desert", which I composed for a short
film (the film never really got done, though).

My all-time favorite module is "Thanks for the Fish" by Nighthawk.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • If there was enough interest...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Currently I listen to quite a bit of jazz, both old style and contemporary. I'm
a big fan of Paul Hardcastle.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • I was never really a big part of the Amiga scene. Mainly I was just a user of
the wonderful software released by hackers in those days.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I only release music in the module scene. I have never known anyone in the scene
    personally.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...
